A Little Rock and Roll

Yes, lady and gents what you heard outside wasn't the Vans Warped Tour, which was awesome by the way!  What you heard was Malton and the rest of the GTA being attacked by powerful thunderstorms.  For the past few weeks, that GTA has been hammered by these very violent storms .  They caused severe damage to a house, struck a teenage girl and also killed a person.  You and I may be asking ourselves

Environment & Urbanization

We live in a world that is changing very rapidly. The pollution of our land, air and water has caused changes that we are only beginning to understand. In developed countries, a large amount of excess food and goods go to waste, while half of the world's population lives on less than $2 a day. Natural resources are diminishing rapidly as the process of urbanization moves across country-sides.

Illiteracy, Apathy, or Ignorance?

Sometimes a photo is worth a thousand words, and sometimes a photo very poignantly asks a very direct question. What are your thoughts on the commonly observed yet rarely addressed problem of recycling sorting (not just on the TTC)? Is it a problem of illiteracy, apathy, or ignorance?
How could we tackle recycling problems at LMASS?  Do you think students at LMA don't recycle because of

An ode to the Peace Garden

The Peace Garden also known as "The Courtyard" has been in the school, ever since the school was created back in 1968.  Yeah, its been around for a looong time. The courtyard has seen its up and down in the past 3 years.  When I arrived at Lincoln in 2005, the courtyard was a 'ghetto mess', with weeds growing from anywhere, its seemed like it just came out of Dante's Inferno(it was that horrible)
